Stacking and Packing Machine

The stacking and packing system is the final automated section of the sandwich panel production line, designed to stack, protect, and prepare finished panels for storage and transportation.
After cooling, the sandwich panels are automatically stacked according to the preset quantity entered by the operator. The stacking system can be manufactured as a vacuum pad type or a mechanical lifter type. The vacuum pad type stacks panels one by one using a vacuum-equipped stacker, while the mechanical lifter type is capable of stacking multiple panels simultaneously, significantly improving stacking efficiency.

Once stacking is completed, the bundled sandwich panels are transferred to the wrapping station by longitudinal feeding conveyors. For corrugated roof panels, a turnover device is required to ensure correct stacking orientation. Without this device, panels would rest on the ribs from the second layer onward, reducing stack height and potentially damaging the painted surface during transportation. The wrapping system provides essential protection against surface contamination, corrosion at cut edges, and paint damage caused by friction during transport. Each bundle is wrapped individually, typically using PE film as the packing material. Depending on the insulation type, four-side or full-side wrapping is applied, and a PP banding machine can be installed as an additional option when required.

After wrapping, the finished bundles are transported to the open-air storage yard by forklift, completing the automated finishing process of the sandwich panel production line.
